It's time for our favorite watermelons of the season! These extra large beauties are sweet, pink, and have just the right amount of seeds in them. We look forward to these all year long... as the taunt us from the fields for weeks until they ripen.
Celeriac is an odd looking but delicious treat we look forward to as well. Given its ugly and strange exterior, we are always surprised how delicate and refreshing the actual inside is. These are excellent pureed as a side or sliced thin in a raw salad.
This week's share includes two beautiful eggplants, a large bag of purple beans, sweet bell peppers, a huge bag of curly kale, a giant bunch of parsley, an enormous Georgia Rattlesnake watermelon, a bunch of celeriac bulbs, and a surprise bunch of broccoli.
