Central Roots West Ohio City Farm West 25th and Franklin Avenue
Central Roots operates on approximately 1 acre of this 6-acre site, which is shared by like-minded organizations in partnership with the Ohio City Near West Development Corporation. Hundreds of pumpkins and cold weather crops were grown in the fall of 2010, and 2011 is our first full growing season with over 30 varieties of veggies at Ohio City Farm. This location also provides one of the best views of downtown Cleveland that the city has to offer.

Central Roots East Thackeray Avenue Orchard East 59th and Thackeray Avenue
Located in the neighborhood of Central, we have high hopes for the revitalization of this area. The plot is located on the north end of Thackeray Avenue and is about ½ acre in size. The 2012 season has started with our first planting of fruit trees and bushes at Thackeray Avenue Orchard. We have also planted a perennial flower garden along the front sidewalk of the site.
